Tunody
Piano songs, created the way you choose.
Pick a song type, a piano and a length. Tunody composes a solo-piano song, plays it on the piano you chose, and hands you the audio and a MIDI file of the notes.
Sign in with your email or Google. Creating songs is at no charge: you start with 20 credits, and each song uses one.
Three choices
You choose from lists. The only words you can type are an optional title.
A song type
Dozens of them, from Baroque Prelude and Ragtime to Lo-fi Chill, Neo Soul and Tango.
A piano
Pick the piano your song is played on, or leave it on Auto and Tunody picks a piano to suit the song type.
A length
Choose how long your song runs.
How it works
Three steps.

Choose and create
Choose a song type, a piano and a length, then press Create my song. You can keep working while it is created.
Listen and keep
Listen in your browser. Download the MIDI file (the notes, for music software) and the audio (MP3). After 7 days only the MIDI is kept, and you can create the audio again for 1 credit.
How the music is created
Algorithmic, not AI.
No AI model makes the music or the sound.
Music from rules
Tunody's composer, ComposerFlex, works from rules of harmony, melody, rhythm and form, tuned by ear, the way a musician composes.
Sound from modeling
Tunody's piano, PianoFlex, computes each note from a model of the hammer, the strings, the soundboard, the dampers and the pedals, then places it in a room heard through microphones.
No prompt
You choose from lists. You do not describe a song in words.

Create songs on your own computer.
Tunody uses the same music and piano engines as the two programs Flex Music Labs makes for Windows: ComposerFlex composes the songs and PianoFlex plays them. The programs work offline, on your own PC, with their controls in your hands.
A subscription option for Tunody is in the works.
